There are many stress busters but one of the best ones is simple. Just have fun. Stress management is increasingly required to operate our lives. One of the most effective ways to manage stress is to be mentally relax and be involved in activities you like. The problem is we all get stressed about our recreation especially in the younger age groups. Having ‘fun’ is also subject to peer pressure and we land up into activities we don’t really enjoy. This also causes stress.

So what is fun? It is not going to malls or shopping or eating and drinking. Being involved with what you like gives you much more joy and keeps your mind calm. It could be a hobby of any kind or getting involved in constructive activities or sports that you like.

If you ensure that you keep yourself involved in such activities for at least three to four times a week, you will be less stressed. This is the best way to just unwind your brain. Don’t think too much about what is ‘in’ or ‘cool’ and what is not. If we agonize too much, we will not be having fun. Instead we will only be more stressed. Let not others decide or influence you at all.

If you really get along with your parents and have a blast; do it! No point trying to be a specifically rebellious youngster just to look good with your ‘friends’. If you keep being what you are not, you are going to get hit with stress and get into the hospital faster than the next door old lady. Have fun.
